We offer on-site jewelry repairs at our Scottsdale Gainey flagship location. Our repair services include ring sizing, laser welding, restringing, prong repair, rhodium plating, jewelry stone replacement, jewelry resizing, and more. The repair time frame is usually 2-3 weeks, but it can be longer depending on our repair volume and the complexity of the repair.

Unfortunately, we are unable to complete engravings at this time and do not offer custom jewelry creation or designs. Repair pricing depends on the market and the complexity of the item. Please contact our Scottsdale Gainey flagship location to begin your estimate. Appointments are not necessary for repairs.

We recommend having your jewelry cleaned and inspected at least every six months. We will be happy to do this for you free of charge. Oliver Smith Jeweler is not responsible for the loss of stones due to worn prongs and settings.

For most watch brands, we can handle repairs through their brand’s repair facility. We have a watchmaker team located in our Scottsdale Gainey flagship to work on special projects and vintage timepieces. Pricing depends on the market and the complexity of the repair. 

Watch batteries are handled on-site for $35 at our Scottsdale Gainey flagship location. Watch batteries taken in throughout the week are ready for pick-up on Saturday. Unfortunately, we cannot offer while-you-wait watch battery repairs at this time. 

We do not repair pocket watches or clocks.

Appraisals can be an important tool for your jewelry and necessary for insurance. We can provide an appraisal to you free of charge for any time purchased at Oliver Smith Jeweler or any of our brand locations.

For items purchased outside of Oliver Smith Jeweler, appraisals are completed by appointment only in our Scottsdale Gainey flagship location.

Appraisals take 1-2 weeks and cost $125 for the first item and $80 for each additional item.
