Seeing an opportunity for business in Arizona, Oliver opens Smith Fine Jewelry in Scottsdale.

Smith Fine Jewelry opens their first watch brand, Raymond Weil.

To enhance brand awareness, Oliver rebrands the company as Oliver Smith Jeweler.

Oliver begins to design and manufacture his own jewelry collections while becoming a diamond wholesaler. He also sees a need for luxury pre-owned watches and starts accepting watch trades.

The business expands to Colorado with the Panerai Aspen Boutique. Oliver's daughters, Elizabeth and Corinne Smith, officially join the family business.

Opening their third location, the Smith family launches the Oliver Smith Jeweler Aspen Boutique. OSJ Aspen is celebrated as one of the pioneering brick-and-mortar stores in the U.S. focused on pre-owned watches.

The new Oliver Smith Jeweler and Panerai Scottsdale boutiques in Scottsdale Fashion Square mall become the fourth and fifth locations for the Oliver Smith Jeweler brand.
