For over 44 years, Oliver Smith Jeweler has been your trusted, local family jeweler, offering the highest-quality diamonds, gold, and luxury timepieces at prices well below our competitors.
We are now proud to announce the extension of our competitive pricing to gold and silver bullion and collector coins. In addition to providing an opportunity to invest in these rare and precious metals, we also accept gold and silver bullion as trade-in value for goods in-store.
What Is Bullion?
Bullion refers to coins, bars, and ingots made from 99.9%+ pure precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum. Like stocks traded on Wall Street, the value of these metals fluctuates based on supply, demand, and industrial consumption.
Why Should I Invest in Bullion?
Since 2000, gold has shown an annual growth rate of 10.2%, leading to a 600% increase in value over the past 20 years. Similarly, silver has experienced an annual average growth of 8.6%, resulting in a 416.8% increase in value over the same period.
Precious metals like gold and silver are often considered safe-haven investments due to their stable growth, even during economic downturns. Additionally, bullion is an untaxed entity, adding to its appeal as an investment.
How Can I Buy Bullion from Oliver Smith Jeweler?
We offer a selection of gold and silver bullion coins and bars at our locations. Here’s how it works:
- Spot Pricing:
When you visit us, we will check the current market value of your desired bullion (called the spot price) in real-time. This spot price will be locked in and guaranteed for the duration of your transaction. - Pricing Details:
A small markup is added based on the bullion’s country of origin and size. This total cost will be calculated for you and is non-taxable. - Standing Orders (Optional):
If you plan to invest regularly, we can set up a standing order to ensure your preferred amount of bullion is available for in-store pickup at your desired intervals.
